To be eligible for the Live in Caregiver Program in Canada need:
- Be aged at least 18 years old
- Proficient in English or French
- No criminal record
- Fit and healthy
- Non-smoker if possible, diver license is a plus
- Enjoy looking after and being around children
- To complete the equivalent of Canadian secondary school education ( you need to make sure, they qualify for the program and have the right education)
- At least six months’ training or at least one year of full-time paid work experience as a caregiver or in a related field or occupation (including six months with one employer) in the past three years
